Tecnia Institute of Art and Design, Delhi was established in 2004 with an aim to provide art and design education of the highest standard in India. Also known as TIAD, the institute is a Centre of Excellence for education in the fields of visual and performing arts, fashion, textile and graphic designing. 

Being one of the leading design institutes in the country, the institute provides maximum exposure to the students and makes them industry-ready at the same time. TIAD Delhi is affiliated to Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya, a UGC recognised university and is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. 

The institute has a diverse group of highly-skilled and experienced faculty members who come from top Indian institutes and have a history of delivering quality learning experience in their respective areas. In 2009, TIAD introduced the programme of Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and subsequently, in the year 2016, three undergraduate programmes were launched in the fields of fashion and textile design and graphic design. Admission to each course at TIAD is based on performance in an institute-level admission test, group discussion and personal interview.
